Thank you to LiterallyPR and the author W.J. Blackwood for the opportunity to review The Turning Point, described as ‘A story of a rebellion against the fashionable mores of our time’.
The plot revolves around the kidnapping of a young girl in Los Angeles by an organisation named ‘The Foundation’, a company that hides behind a facade of do-good activities but whose list of dubious occupations includes people trafficking.
From the start, I was gripped by this thriller, as the subtitle says,  ‘Only a little into the future’ in my opinion, more like the here and now!
The author brings to the story a stream of current issues, including civil war, a virus, anti-climate revolution, plus much more, and this was where I began to lose the plot.
It often reads like a script and would undoubtedly make an entertaining TV thriller.
